FAQs For Visiting Campania

We have collated some FAQs to help make your trip as simple and easy as possible. Pop back before you travel as we will add information here before we all travel.

Naples International Airport is around 25 minutes away by taxi. We strongly advise you pre-book your taxi in advance because the taxi rank outside the airport is utter chaos. We will set up a lift-share finding service to help keep costs down. Uber is also available, and is a service Jane used when she did a site visit.


It is also possible to get to Naples from Rome via a high-speed rail link. We have asked the hotel to advise on the details of this and will post them as son as they are available.

Average temperature in Naples in early November is 16° – 18° or 61° / 64°. Hopefully, it will be pleasantly warm while we are there, but you’re advised to bring a jacket with you.

Italy uses the Euro, and most places take debit/credit cards.

Where to start? There are so many AMAZING places to visit in this area. Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius, the Amalfi Coast, and Capri. The Royal Palace of Caserta is in the town where our venue is, and there’s a high-speed train to Rome from Naples. There’s also Naples itself, of course…
